PBI Pablo just dropped one of the smoothest songs…
PBI Pablo, the 22-year old artist from Chicago, may have dropped one of the smoothest songs in the underground with his new single, “I Know”. This song contains insane melodic trap production that Pablo flows so effortlessly on. The dream-like synth melodies, bouncy hi-hats and the hard 808s, are all tied together beautifully with his crisp vocals and his emotional approach to his lyrics.
This emotional lyrical approach, and melodic vocal tone is similar to that of the late, melodic rap icon Juice WRLD, who Pablo told ORS was one of his biggest inspirations. Another one of these inspirations that Pablo had mentioned was trap legend Future. Both of these artists’ influences shine through in his song “I Know”, as well as throughout his discography.

The song “I Know” touches on many vulnerable topics lyrically, such as pain, loss, heartbreak, and all of the self-deprecation that comes with those things. It is evident that the story that Pablo is telling through his music is very heartfelt and meaningful to him, and he hopes to reach others going through similar situations and help them as well. Pablo stated to us, “I want to make an impact on the world not just through music. I also want to bring a different light to Chicago”.
With only being 3 years into making music, PBI Pablo has shown many signs of being a future breakout star and will continue to flourish in years to come.
