A look into raizo and his recent single ‘Can’t Stop’

raizo is a friend of mine who has been nothing but supportive to ORS, and with his recent single ‘Can’t Stop,’ featuring Dope TAF, hitting over 7k streams on Spotify, I wanted to showcase him with this article.

raizo has a ton of songs on Spotify with real motion attached to them: his biggest song, “Watch Out!,” dropped in 2023 and has over 43K streams. His sound is super energetic and confident. That song, particularly, has some Travis Scott vibes on it.

Speaking of other artists, he’s noted inspirations as 50 Cent, Timbaland, RUSSELL, Ludacris, and XXXTentacion. He’s a 24 year old Filipino artist who originally started making music in 2015, stopped for a while, and picked it up again in 2023.

‘Can’t Stop’ is one of the coolest ways to come back to music, if you ask me. It’s an energetic banger with an infectious hook. He actually flew out to LA for the music video for this song and just a few weeks later flew out to Dublin to shoot the next one.

The beat is super grimy and bassy, pulling influence from a lot of the rage artists in the underground right now. His vocals match the energy. The thing that makes this song unique to me is that cycling ‘can’t stop’ adlib, which, when the verse ends, comes into full on the hook and is fully realized. It’s super infectious and an instant ear worm, especially as you hear that adlib over and over again.

Dope TAF brings an energy on the song that matches raizo’s vibe perfectly, as well. Both of them have an energy on their verses that are super aggressive, giving the song the fuel that it needs.

Without either of them, I don’t think that the song would feel as complete as it does. Combine the music video and the flows and this is a perfectly polished song.

If you’re a fan, give ‘Can’t Stop’ a listen and the rest of raizo’s discography as well. Shoutout to my homie man. <3
