Spike Stent Unveils a New Plugin For Artists

With the world of music constantly lowering the barrier of entry with softwares, instrumentals, and equipment becoming more accessible, there’s only one thing that many of these newer artists are missing in their music: a quality mix. While the average consumer ear may not be able to tell the difference between a track with a quality mix and one using an FL preset, the difference is definitely there, and often can be a dealbreaker when a label or distribution partner is assessing if you have a great overall sound quality.

So what if every artist could have a great mix? While A-list stars from Harry Styles to Post Malone can afford top-notch mixing from engineers such as himself, Spike Stent understands that too many upcoming musicians can’t, and it may be holding them back. That’s why he just unveiled his new plug-in, Spike AI, with the mission of being able to provide quality mixes to those who can’t currently attain them. Spike AI combines complex datasets, computer learning, and Spike’s decades of mixing expertise into one accessible plug-in.

While many may see this as taking away work from existing mixing engineers, the purpose of this plugin is almost the exact opposite. It’s mission is to elevate the quality of small artists’ mixes until they’re able to afford and procure a better mix from one of the industry’s many talented professionals.
